We, at Alliance Française de Pune, are excited to present to you an amazing opportunity to witness the grand opening of the theatrical performance, “He-rose”! It is the brainchild of three famous schools of art – The ENSATT, Les Plateaux Sauvages (Artistic and Cultural Factory of the City of Paris) and The Adishakti Laboratory for Theatre Art Research. This project will present two great, mythological warriors – Arjuna from the Indian epic, Mahabharata and Achilles from the Greek epic, Iliad – and will explore the concept of, “heroism”, and how it goes beyond strength and power to embrace the act of rising through fears and uncertainties. Alliance Française de Pune is organizing this event in collaboration with the French department of Fergusson College, Pune.
