Our monthly ‘French Over Chai’ meet is meant for all those residing in Pune wishing to practice spoken French, interact with new French speaking people, exchange ideas in French. This event is open to all those learning French in Pune, all the French expats who wish to mingle with new people and those who wish to discover French.

This time, we are glad to have Akansha Athalye, our French prof. and the author of ‘Chhota Desh’, a Marathi Edition of Gaël Faye’s acclaimed novel ‘Petit Pays’ as a moderator of our session. This book shall also be the topic of discussion.
Akanksha Athalye has been working as a French linguist and French language teacher for over 13 years. She holds a Post Graduate Degree in French from the University of Pune with a specialization in Translation. She has also passed highest level examination in French (C2) recognized by the French Ministry of Education. Over the last 13 years, she has been teaching in Alliance Française de Pune.
