Calling Volunteers from the Francophiles network!

Are you passionate about art and eager to contribute to a dynamic cultural event? We invite students of the Alliance Française de Pune (AFP) network to participate in the upcoming Midi Minuit Exhibition on Augmented Reality – scheduled from 4th Nov. 2023 to 9th Nov. 2023.

About the Midi Minuit, an Augmented Reality Exhibition :

“An infinite cycle between day and night. Eleven artists for eleven poetic images about the passing of time. Midi Minuit was born of the desire to bring together the crème de la crème of French illustration around a single theme. Most of them come

from the world of animation, so it seemed only natural to take these artists on a journey towards an infinite loop, that of the passing days. From the seashore to the plush interior of a middle- class flat, from the rising tide to space travel, they question our relationship with time and the life that passes us by.”

Aurélien Jeanney is the Curator of the exhibition, Founder and artistic director of Maison Tangible,a Paris-based manufacture of images and graphic objects.

The posters for the exhibition shall be displayed on the pavement of Junglee Maharaj Road Garden.

It is mandatory to download an app ‘Maison Tangible’ to view the images in an augmented reality version.

Your Participation:

We would be honoured to have students of the AFP network join us at the Junglee Maharaj Road Garden where the exhibition is displayed from 4th Nov. 2023 to 9th Nov. 2023. We need 8 volunteers. 4 shall work from 10.00 am to 12.00 pm and 4 shall work from 4.00 pm to 6.00 pm.

• Interact with the general public/debrief on the event.
• Guide the general public on how to view the image by downloading the app and probably demonstrating it.
• Interact with the French artist in case he is at the exhibition.
• Distributing Posters + Cornered Bookmarks to relevant public during the event. 
• In-charge of the safety of the material collaterals especially post cards and bookmarks.
• In-charge of informing the AF Pune team immediately in case of damage of any collaterals especially posters.
• Click Pictures + Videos and send them to our Marketing Coordinator.

 

No prior art experience is required, making this a fantastic opportunity for everyone to contribute.

Your involvement for two hours each day will play a vital role in bringing this unique perception of France to Punekars i.e Modern, Creative, Technology, Augmented Reality.

An online meeting shall be arranged with the short listed volunteers before the event.

 

Inauguration Ceremony:

Additionally, all volunteers are cordially invited to the grand inauguration ceremony on the 3rd Nov. 2023 at 5.30 pm at the same location where the exhibition shall be held.

 

Certificate of Participation:

As a token of our appreciation, all volunteers will receive a Certificate of Participation, recognizing your valuable contribution to the Midi Minuit Exhibition.
