Fête de la Musique

Student Performances – Dhol – Nojazz
Completely different from a music festival, the Fête de la Musique is above all a celebration of music by bringing together musicians, music lovers and enthusiasts. Be it amateur or professional,it is a free popular fête, open to all those who want to perform in it. This Music day allows the expression of all styles of music in a cheerful atmosphere. It aims at a large audience, working to popularise musical practice for young and not so young people from all social backgrounds. It gives an opportunity to communicate and share a very special moment through music.

The Alliance Française de Pune, in partnership with the Max Mueller Bhavan, is organising the Fête de la Musique (International Music Day) on the 19th of June 2012.

The students of Alliance Française and Max Mueller Bhavan will put up performances for the first part of the evening.

This year, along with student performances, a local Dhol group “Ramanbaug Yuva Manch“, will also be performing at this festival.

The main act of this festival will be a concert by an Electro Jazz band from France called NOJAZZ.
