For the fourth consecutive year, the Francophone Film Festival offers Punekars the opportunity to discover a selection of contemporary films, highlighting the diversity of Francophone cultures.
This festival is the result of cooperation between the Alliance Française de Pune, National Film Archive of India, Quebec Government Office in Mumbai, Consulate General of Canada, Consulate General of Switzerland in India and Institut Français.
All the films are in French, with English Subtitles.

Saturday, 21st of March
- 2pm: Henri Henri

The young Henri is about to discover a new world after having to leave the orphanage where he lived since as a child. A new home, a new job and meet his first love. Henri has a gift, bring light to people. With his ingenuity, he will illuminate the lives of people around him.

It is April 1974 and a Swiss production team has been sent to Portugal to investigate Switzerland’s aid to poor countries. The projects prove to be calamitous and the workers’ revolution that suddenly breaks out doesn’t help, obliging our heroes to disregard first the radio’s management, and then their own codes of conduct. The comedy drama is based on a true story.
