A part of the world’s largest network of French Language schools and cultural centres, the Alliance Francaise de Pune, supported by the Embassy of France in India, is a cultural organization that offers French language classes, cultural programs, workshops, a well-equipped library and most importantly, a warm and friendly atmosphere to ensure that your journey with the language is an unforgettable experience!
The Alliance Francaise De Paris was first established during the year 1884.The institute was formed under the guidance of an esteemed Board of Directors, with eminent names such as Ferdinand de Lesseps, Louis Pasteur, Ernest Renan, Jules Verne, Armand Colin. During the same year, the institute was established for the first time in Barcelona in Spain. Gradually, it went on to expand its horizons in countries such as Europe, Africa, Latin America and Asia. Thus, the institute made its way into the heart of the city of Pune/Poona during the year 1973.
