Petit Pays Hindi translation

The drama follows the journey of Gabriel, aged 10, who lives in a comfortable expat neighborhood in Burundi, his “small country”. Gabriel is a normal kid, happy and carefree, who enjoys adventures with his friends and little sister. Then in 1993, tensions in neighboring Rwanda spillover, threatening his family and his innocence.

The bestseller by the author has been translated in Hindi by Tara Press.

Gaël Faye was invited to the Jaipur Literature Festival in January 2020. During his stay in India, he spoke at the Lycée Français de Delhi about his history and the theme of romanced autobiography. He also led a slam workshop at IFI Jaipur with Indian students.
