The Alliance Française de Pune in association with the Goethe Institute Max Mueller Bhavan & the Poona Music Society brings you an evening of selected songs of Schubert.
Corinna Ruba is a Berlin based lyric coloratura soprano who studied in Munich, Salzburg and Rome. among other places. She has participated in many Opera festivals and master classes all over Europe, and has sung the roles of Pamina and Queen of the Night in Mozart’s Magic flute, Tosca in Puccini’s Tosca, and many other operas ranging from Baroque to Contemporary. These arrangements of Schubert songs have been made for string quartet and voice, and have been especially recorded in Zurich for audiences in Pune.
