A Franco-Belgian film directed by Pascal Lahmani, Poulets Grillés follows the story of a fallen star of the Lyon police force, Anne Capestan. The detective-comedy is an adaptation of a novel of the same title written by Sophie Hénaff which was awarded the Best French-language detective novel in 2015.

About the Author

Journalist at Cosmopolitan (France), Sophie Hénaff is the author of ‘Poulets Grillés‘ or ‘The Awkward Squad‘, a debut novel which won the Prize for Best Crime-Fiction Series, (Quais du polar/Le Monde des livres) and the 2015 Arsène Lupine prize. She is coming to India to participate in the Tata Lit Live (The Mumbai LitFest) to present her work to Indian audiences for the first time.
