Join us for a LIVE performance of an extract from Son Nom de Venise dans Calcutta, a film by Marguerite Durason our FB Page @AFPune. The story of the fictional Anne-Marie Stretter, set in the 1930s, will be brought to life on our screens by actress Maud Andrieux. Maud had come to Pune to perform an adaptation of Duras’ L’Amant in November 2018.

Maud Andrieux is an actress and artistic director of the Marguerite Duras Itinerant Theater. It programmes and collaborates with companies playing Durassian works every year. A member of La Société Internationale Marguerite Duras, Andrieux has performed in various places such as Paris and Bordeaux, and since 2006 in Vietnam, Cambodia, Nepal, India, Italy and Turkey. Maud had come to Pune to perform an adaptation of Duras’ L’Amant (The Lover) in November 2018.
